The teachers work with the children to help them to improve. They plan work together which will teach them what they need to learn next and what interests and excited them. The teachers tell the children what they expect them to learn in every lesson and what they expect to see in their work. The teachers help the children to learn by telling them what they are doing right and suggesting what they would do to improve.
Children learn to work with a variety of partners to support each others’ learning. They are encouraged to discuss answers with each other before sharing them with the class. They give each other tips and support.
This approach develops their own learning and also their social skills.
