On Tuesday 4th July, 27 year 5 and 6 pupils took part in a cricket festival. In the morning, the group received coaching by Performance Cricket. In the afternoon, they competed in matches against Ridgeway and Whitley Park.
As we entered into the Semi Finals, we were all excited to find out who would be going through. The Geoffrey Field Giants were against Geoffrey Field Giraffes. Geoffrey Field Grizzlies were against a Ridgeway team.
We knew one of our teams would be in the final. However, we were not expecting at GFJS against GFJS! Giants vs Grizzlies. Both teams played brilliantly but the Grizzlies won by 6 runs!
