We are a school community where shared values guide and empower every pupil to achieve their potential so that they can step confidently into their role as a responsible, valuable member of society.

At our heart, we believe that children simply learn best when they are happy, safe, and learning together. Our priority is to create a positive, caring environment where every single child feels listened to, valued, and truly respected.

Our motto is “all learning together,” and we live by that every day. We’ve built an inclusive curriculum that is ambitious but tailored to the individual. We want to challenge your child in a way that feels right for them, helping them become confident and fluent in Maths, English, and speaking skills, while also exploring the wider world.

Here, we celebrate the “power of yet.” We model a growth mindset, which means we teach children that everyone—including the adults!—is constantly learning. We encourage mistakes because they are wonderful opportunities to reflect, grow, and get better.

We are so proud to be part of the Whitley community, and we weave that local pride into our learning. But we are also looking further ahead. We want to prepare your child not just for secondary school, but for a happy, independent adulthood. We want them to be able to make responsible choices and grab every opportunity life throws their way.
