Geoffrey Field Junior School

We believe that our job is to ensure that every member of the school community, pupils and adults, are learning all the time.  Our motto is “learning together with choice and opportunity."

For the children who come to Geoffrey Fields, school is a vital step in becoming successful and happy in their lives.  We are preparing them for their next school and for adulthood and the world of work and are also wanting them to enjoy their childhood and the learning journey they are on.  We encourage them on the path towards being independent, confident and motivated citizens, able to make responsible choices and take full advantage of opportunities that life offers.

Our expectations are high and an emphasis is placed on becoming confident and competent in Maths and English.  At the same time we encourage an interest in sport, art and technologies, and to this end we have a well- established programme of school clubs and enrichment activities, that we believe is exemplary.  We aim to provide something at which every child can excel and can be excited about.

Children learn best in a happy, caring environment, where they are listened to and treated with respect.  This is always the case at Geoffrey Field Junior and I’m pleased to say visitors to our school often comment that our children are hard working, polite and well behaved.

It is a great privilege to be the Headteacher here and to work with these amazing young people.
